Removing a Tester's Account from Google Play Console
Follow these steps to remove a tester's account from Google Play Console:
- Sign in to the Google Play Console.
- Select the app you want to manage.
- Click Release Overview in the left pane.
- Select Internal testing.
- Select the internal app version you want to remove the tester from.
- Under the "Testers" tab, scroll to the bottom and click the "Copy Link" button.
- Send the link to the tester you want to remove.
- Once the tester clicks the link, they will be opted out of your internal testing list and redirected to a page where they can install the public version of your app.
Note: Removing a tester's account from Google Play Console will not remove the version of your app that is currently installed on their device. However, they will no longer be eligible for future versions in those testing tracks and will receive the production version as soon as it has a higher version code than what they have currently installed.
Additional Information:
- You can also remove a tester's account by going to the "Users and permissions" page in the Google Play Console. Find the tester's account and click the "Remove" button.
- If you want to remove all testers from an internal test track, you can do so by clicking the "Remove all testers" button on the "Testers" tab.
